* Fashionable are clothing combinations and accessories that are classic and simple, nothing exaggerated. * Adapt these new trends to your personal fashion style.

Color for Fall: red, purple, winter white and the new brights. Color combinations for school 2008 are bright colors like fuchsia and jewel --tones worn with dark colored basic, such as color combinations of rich green with navy, fuchsia with black, turquoise with chocolate brown, red and yellow. Or look for patterns that combine these color combinations. You can go graphic with big, bold designs like bright color blocks, batik prints, exaggerated stripes.

Colorful Tops:

The 2008 School season is all about bold color mixed with neutrals: rich, saturated hues against dark denim and neutral basics. Choose tops like bubble hems, interesting sleeves, empire waists and more, such as bows, rushing, volume, or ruffles. For a high fashion look, choose solid dresses in bright colors or go big with a graphic print in contrasting colors.

Dresses are an easy way to look attractive and fashionable. Higher waistlines are popular in dresses and skirts, as well as trapeze style dresses. A baby--doll shirt for casual wear pairs fabulously with a short skirt or skort. Dark Denim: In 2008 denim is as popular as ever. Especially dark colors, in skinny jeans to wide--leg trouser jeans, or faded, vintage jeans. Try modern vintage by mixing in a little bit of the new with the old.

These styles look great for school wear. Casual styles include jeans and capris that are patched, or have carefully placed holes. In cool weather top these off with a fashionable hoodie. Layering offers versatility for fall weather. A simple combination of clothing allows you to adjust your comfort factor or change from work to play. A neutral colored jacket or vest is very popular worn over a ribbed tank or long--sleeved tee. Leggings are still stylish for this year. Choose them in black and brown and wear them under skirts, dresses, tunics, babydoll tops and trapeze tops. Accessories are no longer an extra, but an important fashion. For accessories the perfect belt and shoe combination is required for any nice look. These are three things that you need to fully accessorize this school year:

* Fringe suede belt with hip huggers and a tee shirt. Wide, studded belts worn with jeans makes a fashion statement and will complete any style. The models aren't wearing just leather. Cloth, chains and scarves make excellent belts and add some pizzazz.

Flat Shoes such as patterned slip--ons or a romantic style with a strappy sandal. Ballet flats continue to rule girls' foot fashion and are still a great choice for Fall 2008 as well as comfortable and stylish canvas flats.

Chandelier earrings look great for both dress--up or casual wear. Jeweled pins, earrings and oversized beaded necklaces add some color to your wardrobe and birthstones add individuality. Try bracelets from 'Old Navy'. Basic gold and silver jewelry will go with just about anything. Silver is still stylish, but gold is gaining in popularity quickly.

1. Handbags come in wild patterns with lots of bling that grab attention. Choose fake crocodile or patent leather. Plain monogram purses are suitable for dress--up or just for everyday.

This fall and winter will be full of flash: glitter or sequins, dresses or purses, shiny fabrics. Patterned and various styled tops with solid bottoms will give you a well put--together look. A camisole decorated with sequins can be worn with everyday jeans, or with a skirt for dressy occasions. And you can never have too many scarves, especially during the winter season -- sash--like scarf belts, and huge chunky necklaces and chandelier earrings. These are just some of the new fashion accessory trends.
